ON SABBATH EVENING THE 24.04.2009. THE CHURCH OF GOD 7TH DAY ( 7 MILES, HARBOUR VIEW, KINGSTON 17) WAS DEDICATED TO GOD AS THE FIFTEENTH (15) BRANCH OF THE CHURCHES, SERVICE BEING OFFICIATED BY SOON TO BE APPOINTED PASTOR ROY HOWELL. THERE WAS IN ATTENDANCE THE AMOUNT OF 23 PERSONS INCLUDING CHILDREN NAMELY: BROTHERS. VINCENT WILLIAMS, ROLAND BROWN, ROBERT BROWN, ERROL HARRISON, SISTERS. EMELETA AMBLER, CLAUDETTE WILLIAMS, SOPHIA BROWN, DENA-KAYE WILLIAMS, SHERNETTE BROWN, AND CHILDREN: SAMUEL BROWN, VINCENT WILLIAMS, JAMAE WILLIAMS, (7 MILES CHURCH MEMBERS). DEACON PAUL WILLIAMS, EVANGELIST GARTH BARRETT, BRO. PAUL WILSON, SISTERS: SUZIE BARRETT, JANET CAMPBELL, MISSIONARIES ROSE WILLIAMS, MAUREEN WILSON, SHAWN, TJ, ( ROSALIE MEMBERS ) DEACON PETER COLLMAN AND MISSIONARY DYRICE ADAMS ( ST, FAITH BRANCH ) THE DEDICATION SERVICE WAS VERY SPIRITUAL AND PRAYERS WERE OFFERED DEACON P. WILLIAMS AND P. COLLMAN ASSISTED BY PASTOR R. HOWELL AND EVAN: G. BARRETT FOR BROTHERS. VINCENT WILLIAMS, ROLAND BROWN, ROBERT BROWN, ERROL HARRISON WHO WERE THE APPOINTED BRETHREN TO BE IN CHARGE OF THE FLOCK. THE SERVICE THEN CAME TO AN END AT ABOUT 9:45 PM. TO GOD BE THE GLORY.
Greetings and Salutation to all in Yashua’ name. The COG 7th Day, 7 Miles out side of Harbour View, Kingston 17 was officially incorporated in the Family of the Churches of God 7th Day, (Jerusalem) in Jamaica on Sabbath the 2nd of May 2009. In attendance was the Overseer: Elder G. Rowe, Assistant Overseer: Elder A. Salmon and soon to be appointed Pastor: Evangelist R. Howell who marshal the service. There were also other visiting brethren representing the Churches from Haughton, Barton, Joehut, Williamsfield and Thorton. Brother Errol Harrison was anointed and prayed for by the assembly of Ministers thus positioning him with the responsibility of the care of the flock. The Right hand of fellowship ( rhf ) was also given to each member of the new assembly. Thanking Jehovah for such a marvellous milestone in the church’s quest and history as continued efforts are in place to further expand the work in Jamaica. Let us all continue to be praying for them. Shalom.

Pastors R Howell ( Church of God 7th Day, 54 Rosalie Avenue, Kingston 11 and J. Sawyers (Church of God 7th Day, Maroon Town, Trelawny) will be attending the upcoming Caribbean Conference of the Church of God (7th Day) to be held on July 24th to 31th In Tobago. Do remember them and all in our prayers.

UPDATE, UPDATE, Praise the Lord and plenty thanks for his mercies for the safe return of our Ministers from Tobago. Glad to know that they are back and bubbleing with joy to herald the good news garnered from the conference soon to be revealed here. So do keep in touch and remain blessed.

 THE CHURCH OF GOD 7TH DAY IS VERY MUCH PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT TODAY, JANUARY 19TH,2013 MARKS THE 62ND YEAR OF THE CHURCH EXISTENCE IN JAMAICA AT THE BARTON'S DISTRICT IN ST. ELIZABETH. THE FOUR PERSONS WHO HAVE BEEN RECOGNIZE IS 
1. Pastor A G Salmon 38 years
2. Sister Lovena Robinson 39 years
3. Sister Ionie Green 41 years
4. Missionary Erica Wright 52 years
They were all honoured with citations and plaques.
