AS MANDATED BY THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (agm) THE MINISTERS MET TODAY AT THE HAUGHTON LOCATION OF THE CHURCH OF GOD TO CONFIRM THE APPOINTMENT OF PASTOR ROY A. HOWELL AS THE NEW OVERSEER,TAKING OVER FROM ELDER ALFRED SALMON AND PASTOR PETER COLLMAN WAS APPOINTED AFRESH TO CONTINUE AS THE ACTING ASSISTANT OVERSEER .
BOTH POSITIONS WILL COME TO AN END THE 1ST OF MARCH, 2017. DO CONTINUE TO HAVE THEM IN YOUR PRAYERS.

The COG 7th Day, 54 Rosalie avenue, Kingston 11 is pleased to announce that this morning the 10th of October, 2013 Baptismal Service was done for the two candidates at the Caymanas Spring location. The names of the candidates are: Bro. Sylvester Powell and Sis. Karen Currie. The General Church family want to express our appreciation for the decision they have taken and may they continue to look unto him who is able to carry them through. The Church of God 7th Day, St. Faith, St Catherine is pleased to annouce and celebrate the 54th anniversary of marriage and togetherness of Pastor Neville Gardener and and his lovely wife. We are thanking The Almighty for health and Strength and keeping care towards them both and that he continue to lead out in their lives. A mini celebrate was done at the santuary on Sabbath 10.26.13. Again congrats to this lovely couple.

WE ARE SO PLEASED AT THIS TIME TO ANNOUNCE THE BIRTH OF A NEW BABY GIRL TO THE FAMILY OF BROTHER DWAYNE AND SISTER YANNIQUE REID FROM THE CHOURCH OF GOD 7TH DAY, ROSALIE AVENUE, KINGSTON 11. PLEASE NOTE THE FB QUOTE FROM THE NEW MOM: The time finally came on the 6th day of January, 2013, at 6:55 p.m. when I gave birth to my sweet baby girl - Gabrielle - I am currently home from the hospital and I am taking on my new role as MOTHER!!! Feels really good ;-). WOW THAT IS SO KOOL, AND MAY YAHVAH CONTINUE TO BLESS THEM ALL.

OUR FIRST MARRIAGE OFFICER IN OUR HISTORY IS PASTOR ROY HOWELL FROM THE COG 7TH DAY , 54 ROSALIE AVENUE, KINGSTON 11. CONGRATULATION AS BEING LISTED AMONG THE RECENT BATCH APPOINTED AS MARRIAGE OFFICER OF JAMAICA. THE OFFICE WILL BE CONFERRED ON HIM AT A CEREMONY ON FEBRUARY 23,2012.
We are pleased to annouce that Bro. Gregory Simpson has been appointed to the post of Evangelist in the Ministry of the church generally and assigned to the fellowship at Mount Rosser. This appointment was bestowed upon him by Pastor Roy Howell who was representing the Overseer and the Executive Board on Sabbath the 12th of November, 2011. Congratulations to you and your family.

Can you believe this that a year has passed since the appointment of Pastors Latan Mulling, Roy Howell, Roy Sawyers and Peter Collman. The admin dept expresses their 1st year achievement and looking forward to many more years of service from them. Eph:4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers. 10.12.10.
To Jahovah be all glory great things he hath done, Let the heathen know that he hath sovereignty throughout all the earth and he still keep promises to a thousand generation. Just a word of thanksgiving to him for sparing us from the onslaught of Nicole and now Tomas. Truly he is to be praise form the rising of the sun to the setting of the same. Lord we don't deserve it but you are God and still in control according to your word when your son spoke the very sea obeyed his voice. Wow, what a powerful, awesome Deity we serve and again and again we offer thanks.

The Admin department is pleased to announce that we have a new baby in the Church's family. A bouncing baby boy from the family of Brother and Sister Vincent Williams who was born on the 17th of November 2010 @ the Victoria Jubilee hospital.The Williams attends the COG assembly @ 7 miles, Harbour view. We are all truly happy for safe delivery, amen.
Gideon & Debbie Jagrup's Wedding
Another wedding at the Church of God 7th Day in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. This wedding, joined Gideon Jagrup from St. Croix, and Debbie Mangal from St. Lucia. Everyone was with great happiness as the two exchanged their vows in the presence of GOD. Please feel free to watch the wedding video, and also the pictures of both the ceremony and the reception. Gideon and Debbie would like to thank everyone for their help and support. Let us all pray for them that GOD will bless them both to serve GOD and always put him first.
